Steering Column Switch Module Upper Trim

Removing






- Move the steering wheel as far down as possible.

- Gap cover Carefully unclip the gap cover - 1 - from the upper steering column switch module trim panel - arrows -.

• For reasons of clarity, the steering wheel is not shown.






- Turn the steering wheel counterclockwise 90° from the straight position.

- Carefully pry off the upper trim panel - 1 - from the lower trim panel - 2 - for the steering column switch module using a small flat-head screwdriver - left arrow -.

- Turn the steering wheel back 180° and repeat the procedure on the opposite side - right arrow -.

- Disengage the upper steering column switch module trim from the lower trim and remove it.

Installation






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Engage the upper trim - 1 - in the lower trim - A arrows -.

- Ensure the lower trim pins engage in the opening at the upper trim retaining tab - B arrows -.
