Power Distribution Module: Service and Repair

Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" operating mode of the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing






- Remove the driver side knee airbag.

- Disengage the 7-pin relay/fuse panel from the mount with the wires still connected. Refer to=> [ 7-Pin Relay/Fuse Panel ] 7-Pin Relay/Fuse Panel.

- Release the spring - 4 - and remove the Vehicle electrical system control module - 3 -.

- Disconnect the connectors - 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 -.

- Disconnect the connectors - 5 - and - 6 -.

- To disconnect the electrical connector, press the catch - 1 -, rotate the retaining bracket in the - direction of the arrow - and remove the connector.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the 7-pin relay/fuse panel. Refer to => [ 7-Pin Relay/Fuse Panel ] 7-Pin Relay/Fuse Panel.

- Install the driver side knee airbag.
