Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) and Distance Regulation Control Module 2 (J850) Overview

• The distance regulation control module is shown in the illustration; the location of the components of the distance regulation control module 2 is identical.






1 Nut

2 Stud

• If the stud bolt is being removed, then the clip - item 3 - => [ (Item 3) Clip ] must always be replaced.

• Observe adjustment dimension when installing, refer to => [ Measure Dimension on All the Stud Bolts. ] Distance Regulation Control Module (J428) and Distance Regulation Control Module 2 (J850)

3 Clip

• Always replace the clip if the stud bolt - item 2 - => [ (Item 2) Stud ] was removed.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Distance Regulation Control Module Clip ] Distance Regulation Control Module Clip

4 Connector

• Make sure the connector on the sensor is protected from dirt and water before disconnecting the connector. Take the correct measures, if needed.

• Check the sensor for damage, contact corrosion and water before connecting the connector and service if necessary. General information for performing repairs to the vehicle electrical system.
