Relay/Fuse Panel Mount with Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

Removing






- Remove the driver side knee airbag..

- Remove the Vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to=> [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the Left side vent motor (V299) - 1 -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

- Slide the extension between the air duct - 4 - and the central tube - 2 -.






- Attach the socket to the extension and remove the nut - 3 -.

- Remove the nut - 5 - using the socket on the extension - 6 -.

- Remove the mount from the threaded pins.

- Disengage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount at the side guide in the A-pillar - arrow - while pulling the mount toward the passenger compartment.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specification. Refer to=> [ Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel in Instrument Panel and A-Pillar Overview ] Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel in Instrument Panel and A-Pillar Overview.

- Engage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount - 3 - at the side guide in the A-pillar - arrow -.

- Tighten the nuts - 2 -.

- Install the left side vent motor.

- Install the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to=> [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- Install the driver side knee airbag.
