Backrest Heating Element, Comfort Seat

Removing






- Disconnect cover from upholstery. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Separating From Cushion ] Backrest Cover, Separating From Cushion.

- Cut the electrical wire - 2 - off directly at the old backrest heating element - 3 -.

- Loosen the heating surfaces - A - and - B - from the adhesive and remove.

• The spacer fabric must not be damaged.

Installation

- Align new heating element on backrest cushion.


• Make sure the new heating elements are bonded so they line up with the old ones.

• Remove the protective foil off the heating element in the affixing sequence.

• When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

- Bond the individual areas of the heating element in the sequence - A and B -.

- Pull the wire - 3 - through the slit in the cushion - 1 -.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
