Seat Cover and Cushion, Sport Seat

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634)

• The work description given applies to the Sport front seat (manual and power).

Removing






- Remove the cover and upholstery from the seat pan and seat depth adjuster. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Sport Seat ] Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Sport Seat.

- Unclip the retaining strips - 1, 2, 3 and 4 -.

- Remove the support - 5 - and the seat depth adjustment from the cover.

- Cut through the upholstery clips - 3 - using pliers - 4 -.






- Remove the cover - 1 - from cushion - 2 -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Make sure the contour strips fit correctly and the cover is not wrinkled.

- When installing new upholstery clips, use (V.A.G 1634).
