Fastener Tightening Specifications






Oil Pan, Lower Section, Tightening Sequence

- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 19 - in 2 stages as follows:






- Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.

- Tighten the bolts an additional 45°.

Oil Pan, Upper Section, Tightening Sequence

- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 13 - in 2 stages as follows:






- 1. Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.

- 2. Tighten the bolts an additional 90°.

Oil Separator, Tightening Sequence

- Tighten bolts to 9 Nm in the sequence - 1 to 9 -.
