Clock Receiver

Removing






- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Without a Trailer Hitch

- Lift the clips - arrows - and remove the radio frequency controlled clock receiver (J489) - 3 - upward and out of its retainer - 1 -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - on the radio frequency controlled clock receiver.

With a Trailer Hitch






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the radio frequency controlled clock receiver - 2 -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - on the radio frequency controlled clock receiver.

Installing

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

If the bumper cover was removed from a vehicle with lane change assist, then the lane change assistance control module (J769) and the lane change assistance control module 2 (J770) must both be calibrated again. Refer to => [ Lane Change Assistance, Preparing for Calibration ] Lane Change Assistance, Preparing For Calibration.
