Center Differential Ball Bearing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Plate (VW 401)

• Thrust Plate (VW 402)

• Thrust Disc (VW 412)

• Arbor 50 mm Dia. (VW 432)

• Carrier Bearing Inst. Tool (3350)

• Separating Device 22 to 115 mm (Kukko 17/2)

Procedure

- Remove the center differential housing. Refer to => [ Center Differential Housing, Transmission Installed ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the center differential - 1 - from the input shaft.





- Removing the ball bearing from the center differential.





A Separating device 22 to 115 mm (Kukko 17/2)

• The (VW 432) faces the ball bearing.

- Installing the ball bearing onto the center differential.
