Parking Aid Control Module (J446)

Removing

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Select the function or path:






- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.


Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Open the right luggage compartment side trim cover.






- Disconnect electrical connectors - 2 through 4 -.

- Remove the nuts - arrows -.

- Remove the parking aid control module (J446) - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Parking Aid Overview ] Parking Aid Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Follow the prompts on the vehicle diagnostic tester display in the case of a new parking aid control module.
