Function
If the central locking is not in the SAFE mode, then the vanity mirror illumination bulb (L31) in the headliner comes on when the sun visor is folded down and mirror cover is moved to the side.
The driver vanity mirror lamp contact switch (F147) and the front passenger vanity mirror lamp contact switch recognize that the sun visor is folded down and the mirror cover has been moved to the side.
If one of the vanity mirror illumination bulbs is on when terminal 30G is off and no other electrical consumer is on, then the vehicle electrical system control module (J519) will recognize when an electrical consumer is switched on and it will activate terminal 30G.
