Seat Cover and Cushion, Standard, Comfort and Folding

• The work description given applies to the Standard front seat (manual or power), the Comfort seat and the folding seat.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Removing






- Remove the seat cover and cushion:

• Front folding seat, passenger seat, refer to => [ Seat Cover and Cushion, Passenger Folding Seat ] Seat Cover and Cushion, Passenger Folding Seat.

• Standard seat (manual or power) and Comfort seat, refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery ] Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery.

- Cut through the upholstery clips - 3 - using pliers - 4 -.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from cushion - 2 -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Make sure the contour strips fit correctly and the cover is not wrinkled.

- When installing new upholstery clips, use (V.A.G 1634).
