Electromechanical Parking Brake Button (E538), -AUTO HOLD- Button (E540)

Removing

- Pull the parking brake button to lock the electromechanical parking brake.

- Vehicles with MMI basic equipment: remove the center console cover.

- Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment: remove the multimedia system control head (E380).

- Release the retaining clips in the direction of the - arrows - and press the electromechanical parking brake button (E538) -AUTO HOLD- button (E540) - 2 - out of the cover - 1 - multimedia system control head.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Vehicles with MMI basic equipment: install the center console cover.

- Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment: install the multimedia system control head.
