Relay/Fuse Panel Mount with Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

Removing

- Switch the ignition off.

- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.






- Remove the instrument panel..

- Remove the air duct to the left instrument panel vent.

- Remove the vehicle electrical system control module. Refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519).

- Remove the nuts - 2 -.

- Remove the mount - 3 - from the threaded pins.

- Disengage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount at the side guide in the A-pillar in the direction of the - arrow - while pulling the mount upward.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Relay/Fuse Panel Mount Tightening Specifications ] Relay Carrier, Fuse Panel In Instrument Panel and A-Pillar Overview.

- Engage the retaining pins - 1 - on the mount - 3 - at the side guide in the A-pillar in the direction of the - arrow -.

- Tighten the nut - 2 -.

- Install the air duct to the left instrument panel vent.

- Install the instrument panel..

- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
