Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89)

• Installed only in vehicles with Comfort version A/C system

Removing

- Remove instrument panel trim under glove compartment.

- Rotate Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - A - in direction of arrow approximately 90°.






- Disconnect harness connector - B - from Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor.

- Remove Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor from housing.

Installing

- Check seal - C - for damage and proper fit on Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor.

- Insert v into mount - D -

- Install the remaining removed components again in reverse order.

- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase any faults displayed if necessary using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
