Components

• Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

• Glove Compartment Lamp Switch (E26) (special equipment)

• Glove Compartment Lamp (W6) (special equipment)

Function

If the central locking is not in the SAFE mode, then the glove compartment lamp (W6) will come on when the glove compartment is opened. Opening the glove compartment automatically turns on the glove compartment lamp switch (E26) and supplies the electricity to the glove compartment lamp (W6).

If the glove compartment is opened when terminal 30G is off and no other electrical consumer is on, then the vehicle electrical system control module (J519) will recognize when an electrical consumer is switched on and it will activate terminal 30G.
