Hydraulic Line On Valve Block
Injury risk.
• There must be no pressure inside the hydraulic system when performing the following work.
Removing
- Follow cleanliness rules. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.
- Remove hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.
- Remove the bolt - 2 -.
- Remove the hydraulic line - 3 - from the valve block - 1 -.
Damage and leaks on the valve block.
• The hole for the connecting piece on the hydraulic line must not be damaged.
• A damaged hole will result in leaks.
- If there is an O-ring - 1 - still inside the valve block, carefully remove it with a small dull hook - 2 -.
Installation
• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Hydraulic Line, Tightening Specification ] Motor Overview and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
• Replace the O-ring.
- Install the new O-ring - 2 - in the connecting piece - 1 -.
• Each hydraulic line has a printed number - arrow A -, which must match the number - arrow B - on the valve block across from it.
Damage and leaks on the valve block.
• Forcing the hydraulic line will damage the o-ring.
- Insert the hydraulic line connecting piece - 3 - vertically into the valve block - 1 -. No resistance must be felt.
- Tighten the bolt - 2 - to the tightening specification.
- Install hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.
- Check the fluid level and fill with fluid if necessary. Refer to => [ Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding ] Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding.
