Seat Pan

Removing






- Remove the trim on the sill side. Refer to => [ Trim, Sill Side ] Trim, Sill Side.

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Trim, Tunnel Side ] Trim, Tunnel Side.

- Remove the screw.

- Remove the seat forward/back adjustment handle.

- Press the control cable sleeve in the direction of - arrow A - out of the control cable bracket.

- Detach release cable - 1 - for seat forward/back adjustment from the release lever - arrow B -.

- Release retaining clip - 4 - on the release cable in the direction of- arrow A - and remove the retaining clamp in an upward direction - arrow B -.






- Release retaining spring - 2 - with a narrow screwdriver - 3 -.

- Remove seat rail release lever - 1 - up out of the axis of rotation.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - and cut the cable ties - arrows -.






- Free up the electrical wiring harness on the retaining plate.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 2 - and - 4 -.

- Disconnect the pneumatic hose - 3 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.






- Remove the seat pan from the seat frame.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert the bolts with locking compound; locking compound, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
