Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 in Front of Catalytic Converter and Oxygen Sensor 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter, Cylinder Bank 2

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set for Oxygen Sensor (3337)

Removing

• During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Remove affected electrical connector from bracket and disconnect it.





2 For Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 (G108)
3 For Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G131)

• The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 (G108).





- Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 (G108) - 1 - using a tool from the Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set for Oxygen Sensor (3337).

Remove the Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G131).





- Remove the oxygen sensor (O2S) 2 behind three way catalytic converter (TWC) (G131) - 4 - using a tool from the Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set for Oxygen Sensor (3337).

Installing

• Tightening Specifications. Refer to => [ Oxygen Sensors Assembly Overview ] Oxygen Sensors Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Coat new oxygen sensors with an assembly paste. This paste must not come into contact with sensor slots.

• For a used oxygen sensor, only coat threads with hot bolt paste. This paste must not come into contact with sensor slots.

• Electrical wire of oxygen sensor must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.
