Clutch: Adjustments
Clutch Pressure Plate Adjusting Ring, LuK, Resetting, Single-Disc Clutch
• The adjusting ring on the clutch pressure plate must only be turned back to the stop if installing a new clutch plate with a used clutch pressure plate. If clutch pressure plate adjusting ring does not turn back, clutch pressure plate is functioning with reduced release pressure which causes greater wear to the clutch, especially the clutch plate (clutch slips).
• If the clutch plate is not replaced, the adjusting ring should also not be reset.
• New clutch pressure plates are pre-adjusted and resetting is therefore not necessary.
