Steel Shift Lever Console

- Remove exhaust assembly.
- Remove heat shield and reinforcement carrier.
- Remove shift lever.





- Disconnect plug.





- Pull off wires for backup lights.
- Unscrew console mounting screws.

NOTE:
Self-locking screws - will be difficult to unscrew.
Use new screws coated with microencapsulating adhesive.





- Unscrew mounting bracket.

Installation Note:
Install the shift lever first to make installation of the rubber cover easier.





- Remove console.

Installation Note:
Check rubber mounts, replacing if necessary.
