Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL




Pull off outside mirror adjusting button.

Lift out mirror switch with Special Tool 61 1 300.

Pull off plug.




Unscrew screw.




Unscrew screws




Pull armrest forward and disengage.




Lift off cover.

Pull off lock or unscrew screw.




Pull off window winder and washer.

Installation:
Window winder faces forward with window raised fully.




Pull off mask toward rear.




Door window lowered.

Lift door trim panel out of clips.

Installation;
Check clips, replacing if necessary.




Lift door trim panel out of clamps.

Note: The window recess seal will also be lifted out.




Installation:
Check for correct fit of clips.

4 Door trim panel

Install door trim panel complete with window recess seal after lowering the door window.




Installation:
Check foam rubber washer on window regulator
