Intake Air Temperature Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING 0°C (32°F) TEMPERATURE SWITCH





- Pull off plug (1).
- Unscrew temperature switch.

Installation Note:
- Tightening torque: max. 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).

Installation Note:





- Check code number (1) and switching temperature (2).

Checking:





- Connect ohmmeter (M 60) on temperature switch.
- Ohmmeter must display approx. 0 ohm at temperature < - 8°C (+ 18°F).
- Ohmmeter display should be approx. infinite ohms at temperature > 4°C (39°F).
