Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR FLOW SENSOR





- Loosen hose clamp (1) and pull off air hose on air flow sensor.





- Pull off plug (1).
- Loosen nuts (2...4) and take off air flow sensor.

Installation Note:





- Check seal (1), replacing if necessary.





- Unscrew silent mounts (1...3) on air flow sensor.
- Check silent mounts, replacing if necessary.

Installation Note:





- Check code number (1) and manufacturing date (2).
- Check engine idle speed and CO level.
- Check air flow sensor.
