Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Disconnect electrical connector from VP-20 control module
2. Measure resistance between terminals 14 and 18 in connector. Resistance should be 10 - 20 ohms at 68°F.
3. Measure resistance between terminals 14 and 18 and terminal 17 (ground). Meter should indicate no continuity.
4. If readings are not as specified, check wiring between control unit and pulse valve and repair as needed. If wiring is satisfactory, valve is defective.
