Turbo Boost Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Remove retaining clip securing connecting rod and disconnect rod from wastegate.
2. Disconnect pressure hose.
3. Remove bolts securing regulator to housing, then the regulator.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Adjust connecting rod so that wastegate opening pressure is 11.6 - 12.6 psi, with engine stopped. One turn of connecting rod alters opening pressure by .725 psi.
b. Perform boost pressure check as outlined.
c. When boost pressure is properly adjusted, apply suitable locking compound to connecting rod locknut and securely tighten nut.
