Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Disconnect electrical connector from VP-20 Control module.
2. Measure resistance between connector terminals 8 and 27. Resistance should be 865 - 1050 ohms.
3. Measure resistance between terminals 8 and 27 and terminal 17 (ground). Meter should indicate no continuity.
4. If readings are not as specified, check wiring between control module and sensor and repair as needed. If wiring is satisfactory, sensor is defective.
