Sunroof / Moonroof: Adjustments

Steel Sliding Roof - Adjusting:

Description of Function:

This roof functions as a:

a) sliding roof and

b) lifting roof.




- Switching to lift is only possible when roof is closed. If system has electric controls, a micro switch does this with switch in "close" position. Open roof lid by about 5 cm (2"). Press off front headliner frame. Close sun roof and push back headliner frame all the way.

Installation Note! Close roof lid. Pull headliner frame forward evenly. Open roof lid a little, holding headliner frame by hand. Press in retaining clips for front headliner frame.

Front Height Adjustment:



- Ideal adjustment of sliding roof: 1 mm (0.040") deeper than roof panel outside surface. Loosen screws (1) and make adjustment with height adjusting screw (2). Tighten screws (1) again, pressing in.

Rear Height Adjustment:



- Ideal adjustment of sliding roof: 1 mm (0.040") higher than roof panel outside surface. Loosen screws on gate holder. Lid can be adjusted in slots. Tighten screws again.

Lift Position:



- For lift position, roof lid must be tight against front edge of roof opening. Correct adjustment by moving the guide pins.
