Flow of Diagnosis
Flow Of Diagnosis:
TROUBLESHOOTING
All Troubleshooting must begin by checking the basics.
- Service brakes must be in perfect working order, including the parking brake.
- Correct type of Hydraulic fluid must be used, verified by label on hydraulic fluid tank.
- Hydraulic fluid level must be correct.
- Correct operation of warning lights and indicators, refer to Electronic Diagrams.
Troubleshooting without a thorough understanding of the H31 hydraulic system operation may lead to misdiagnosis and needless expense. The troubleshooting technician should review the Description and Operation provided at the system and component levels and systematically follow all test instructions. Description and Operation.
Complaint Verification
Whenever possible, the repairing technician should personally verify the complaint. Having experienced the malfunction himself, the technician is less likely to try to repair nonexistent faults.
Previous Repairs/Modifications
The vehicle repair history can provide explanations to unusual complaints which seem to elude normal troubleshooting attempts. Incorrect components, unapproved repairs or modifications can have subtle influences on seemingly unrelated systems.
