Control Module HVAC: Service and Repair

Remove

Trim Panel Screws:

- Remove screws 1 - 4 and take off the trim.
- Take off the protective cap.

Control Unit Connector:

- Detach plugs 1 and 2.

Control Unit Lever:

- Disconnect the linkage (1) and remove screws (2) and (3).
- Take out the control unit.

Refit

Linkage:

- Using threaded bushing (1), preload by approximately 3 mm (0.120") against the stop (with regulator setting 15°C/60°F).
