Replacing Oxygen Sensor

- Do not clean oxygen sensors or let them come in contact with lubricants.
- Only use Anti-Seize** for the threads.
- Cover oxygen sensors when undercoating the car.





- Disconnect plug (2)





- Unscrew oxygen sensor (1).

Installation Note:

- Coat threads with Anti-Seize.





- Unscrew screw (3)
- Push cover on display until to the right and lift off.





- Remove lamp (4) for "02 SENSOR" sign by bending off.
- The heated oxygen sensor has to be replaced at intervals of 50,000 miles - there is no sign or indicator lamp.





- Disconnect plug (1).





- Pull off plate (2).





- Unscrew oxygen sensor (3)

Installation Note:

- Coat threads with Anti-Seize
