Ignition Rotor: Service and Repair

REPLACING/CHECKING DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR

Caution! Always turn off ignition before working on dangerous high power ignition systems!





- Remove distributor cap.

Installation Note:
- Check seal.
- Inspect inside of distributor cap.





- Unscrew distributor rotor.

Installation Note:
- Tightening torque

Checking:





- Check resistance in distributor rotor.
- Check casting compound for cracks and burns.
