Removing and Installing 45C (113F) Temp. Switch

REMOVING AND INSTALLING TEMPERATURE SWITCH 45°C(113°F)





- Pull off plug (1).
- Remove temperature switch.

Installation Note:
- Tightening torque: max. 30 Nm (22 ft lbs.).
- Fill and bleed cooling system (Gr. 17).

Installation Note:





- Check code number (1) and switching temperature (2).

Checking:





- Connect ohmmeter (M 06) on temperature switch.
- Ohmmeter should display approx. 0 ohm for temperature of < 30°C (86°F).
- Ohmmeter should display approx. infinite ohms for temperature of > 48°C (118°F).
