Removing and Installing 45C (113F) Temp. Switch

REMOVING AND INSTALLING 45°C (113°F) TEMPERATURE SWITCH





- Pull off plug (1).
- Remove temperature switch.

Installation Note:





- Tightening torque: max. 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
- Fill and bleed cooling system (Group 17).

Installation Note:
- Check code number (1) and switching point (2).

Checking:





- Connect ohmmeter (M 06) on temperature switch.
- Ohmmeter should display approximately 0 ohm for temperature < 30°C (86°F)
- Ohmmeter should display approximately infinite ohms for temperature > 48°C (118°F)
