ADJUSTING SUN ROOF






Ideal Adjustment:

Height:
Front = 1 mm (0.040") deeper than roof panel
Rear = 1 mm (0.040") higher than roof penal

Length:
Same distance of lid to roof at front and rear - check with a plastic gage approx. 0.2 mm (0.008").







Open sun roof lid about 10cm (4")






Spread clips on left and right sides and push back the roof liner frame.
Close the sun roof lid.






Arrest sun roof in "0 position" on left and right sides with a 4 mm hexagon key (1).
Lid is removed for better demonstration.
Key (1) arrests the drive, cable (2) and gate (3).

If necessary, remove the motor/gearbox unit to be able to adjust the drive cables.






Loosen screws (1... 3) on left and right sides - align the lid.
If applicable, install motor/gearbox unit in position 0.
Take off keys.

Tightening torque = 3.5 Nm (2.5 ft. lbs.)
