Situation:
To avoid stripping the bolt for the distributor rotor adapter, a special 6 mm hex socket driver has been developed. Please reference Service Information bulletin 11 02 88 (1654) for proper use.

This tool will be sent to all automotive BMW dealers under the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools can be ordered directly through your Parts Distribution Center.
