Code 14 (DK Motors Cyl. 1-6)

THROTTLE POSITION MOTOR (DK) 1-6
Explanation
This defect code is displayed if the Electronic Throttle Control (EML) detects a fault at the EML Throttle Valve (DK) motor or leads.

Troubleshooting
- Check for short or break in wiring.
- Check voltage supply approx. 5V
- Check for possible obstruction at throttle valve

WARNING: Do not touch (insert fingers in) an EML throttle valve(s) while in operation.

- Proceed with other displayed scan tool diagnostic instructions where applicable.
- Test DK with replacement unit.
