Sunroof / Moonroof: Adjustments

Adjusting Sun Roof:

Description:

The steel sun roof functions as a:

A) sliding roof and

B) as a lifting roof.

- Switching to lift is only possible with the lid closed.

- For electric sun roofs by way of a microswitch with the control switch in "closed" position.




- Open sun roof lid about 5 cm (2").
- Press off front roof liner frame.
- Close sun roof and push back roof liner frame completely.

Installation:
- Close sun roof.
- Pull roof liner frame forward uniformly.
- Open sun roof lid slightly, holding roof liner frame by hand.
- Press in holding clamps for front roof liner frame.

Front Height Adjustment:



- Ideal setting = sun roof lid 1 mm (0.040") deeper than roof panel.
- Unscrew bolts (1) and adjust with height control screw (2).
- Tighten bolts (1) again, pushing in on roof.

Rear Height Adjustment:



- Ideal setting = sun roof lid 1 mm (0.040") higher than roof panel.
- Unscrew bolts on gate holder.
- Lid can then be adjusted in slot (1).
- Tighten bolts again.

Basic "Lift" Setting:



- Center left and right guide pins (1) in slots.
- Deflector (2).
- Guide pin (1).
- Distance A = 2 mm (0.080").
