SUBJECT: DME Control Unit Codes
Versions: M1.1, M1.2, M1.3. M1.7,
Situation: Successful diagnosis requires that BMW technicians be able to recognize and verify all DME Control Unit codes.
Solution: To assist in the proper identification of these codes, BMW NA has developed a new sliding-type reference chart.
This reference chart consist of 2 parts: a plastic sleeve and a card stock insert.

The technical information is contained on the insert, which will be updated as necessary. Insert updates will be announced and can be ordered using item number SD 90-012. The sleeve, made of durable plastic, should be retained for future inserts.
