SUBJECT: 6 Disc Compact Disc Player - Alpine

BMW is pleased to introduce a new 6 disc Compact Disc Player for use with the BMW (Alpine) Anti-Theft CD-Ready Radio.
Operating procedures remain the same as for the previous 12 disc player; however, the loading procedure of the Compact Discs and the Compact Disc Magazine have changed.

Please read the attached copy of the Compact Disc Player Owner's Manual Supplement to familiarize yourself with these changes.



INSERTING THE MAGAZINE
1. Slide the CD Player door to the right to open door and access CD magazine insertion slot.
2. Insert the magazine.

NOTE:
^ Make sure that the magazine is loaded with discs before inserting it into the multi-play CD player.
^ Be careful to insert the magazine into the multiplay CD player with the arrow mark facing up and pointing towaid the CD player.
^ If the label on the magazine is coming off or wrinkled, it may damage the eject mechanism, and in some cases, the magazine may not be ejected. Therefore, remove a damaged label completely before use.

3. Close the door.

NOTE: Never leave the door open while playing discs. The entry of dirt, dust, or any other foreign matter into the multi-play CD player may cause it to malfunction.



MAGAZINE EJECT
1. Slide the CD Player door open.
2. Press the eject button to eject the magazine from the CD Player.



REMOVING DISCS
1. Press the white tab (disc-in indicator) located on top of the magazine to release disc from magazine.
2. Hold the edge of the disc with thumb and index finger and gently pull disc out of magazine. Be careful not to touch the recorded side of the disc.
