Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Air Flow Meter Replacement:

1. With the ignition OFF, disconnect the air flow meter electrical connector and the air intake hose.
2. Loosen the air cleaner mounting nuts and remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Open the air cleaner clamps and remove the upper air cleaner section with air flow meter.
3. Remove the nuts at the inside of the upper section of the air cleaner and disconnect the air flow meter.
4. Check the air flow meter code number and the manufacturing date for proper match.
5. Reinstall the air flow meter in reverse manner.
