Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

DME Control Unit:

1. Unscrew the four E-Box cover screws and remove the cover.
2. With the ignition OFF, pull up the retainer and pull off the plug.
3. Unscrew the control unit mounting screws and remove the control unit.
4. Check the manufacture code and production date for proper match.
5. Reinstall the control unit in reverse manner and check the engine performance.
