Fuel Pump Relay (DME Relay 1)

Fuel pump relay (DME relay 1):

Check function:

•D• 100 - This status inquiry is only possible in the case of DME M1.3. The EKP relay must switch on during start or engine operation. (Display: ON).

Possible causes:

- Wire to DME control unit Pin 3 defective

- Relay 1 or voltage supply not OK

- Voltage supply for DME control unit not OK

- No signal from engine speed/position pulse generator

- The control unit is defective if not ground potential is output at DME control unit Pin 3 during start and engine operation although the above points are OK.
