Status Monitoring
The value Up/Uv (Up = Potentiometer voltage. Uv = Supply voltage of 5 V) indicates the voltage ratio derived from the position of the air vane in the air flow meter. At idle speed, this value is at 0.2 to 0.3 and at full load it increases to 0.9 volts. The value 0.02 is indicated it the supply voltage or signal line is interrupted.

Voltage supply
With the ignition "ON", the air flow meter is supplied with 5 V by the Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit Pin 12 (+) and Pin 26 (-). Refer to Electronic Diagrams.
