Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR LOCK


Remove front door trim panel.

Close door window.




Remove window guide rail.

Installation:
- Check for correct fit of window guide rail.




Lift out retainer.

Disconnect linkage.

Installation:
- Rotary latch in "locked" position, lock in "locked" position.




Pull off rubber door seal partially.

Unscrew screws.

Lift out door lock.




Installation:
- Lubricate door lock with grease.
- Check function.
