AEGS - Fault 04 - Program Switch


MODEL:
E32/E34 with AEGS and Instrument Cluster "Redesign"


Situation:
It can occur that "Fault 04" may be set due to improper recognition of the new Instrument Cluster "Redesign".


Repair Procedure:
Troubleshooting should only be performed if the transmission program cannot be changed via the program switch indicating that there is a valid fault.


This fault will no longer be erroneously set on Instrument Cluster "Redesigns" with a modification index of 04.


Warranty Information:
Claims will not be honored for the replacement of the instrument cluster and for the elimination of this fault.
