Replacing Oil Pump Drive Chain

REPLACING OIL PUMP DRIVE CHAIN






Remove lower oil pan section.

Remove timing chain.

Unscrew nut (2) and take off sprocket.

Installation:
Check sprockets for wear.
Adjust chain tightness.
Chains with green code are longer than chains with a red code.

Tightening torque: 25 to 30 Nm (18 to 22 ft. lbs.)
