R&R of Intake Manifold

Rear Intake Brace And Coolant Hose.:

1. Unscrew upper manifold section.
2. Unscrew rear brace.
3. Pull off hose.

Front Intake Brace:

- Loosen front brace.

Preheater Holder.:

- Unscrew holder for preheater.

Installation:
- If applicable, bend holder for preheater far enough that bearing surface of preheater bears firmly on the throttle valve assembly.

Intake Manifold Retaining Bolts.:

- Unscrew bolts.

Intake Manifold And Fuel Pressure Regulator.:

1. Lift off upper intake manifold section.
2. Pull hose off of fuel pressure regulator at the same time.

Intake Gasket And Dowel Sleeve Alignment.:

Installation:
1. Replace gasket.
2. Check dowel sleeves.

Fuel Injectors Plate.:

- Pull plug plate off of fuel injectors.

Fuel Pipe Clamp.:

- Unscrew clamp.

Injector Pipe.:

1. Unscrew bolts.
2. Pull off injection pipe complete with fuel injectors.

Installation:
- Lubricate seals lightly with oil.

Lower Manifold Section.:

- Unscrew lower manifold section.

Gasket And Dowel Sleeves.:

Installation:
1. Replace gasket.
2. Check dowel sleeves.
