Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Replacing Freezing Prevention Switch

Procedure:
- Disconnect battery ground lead.
- Remove lower portion of center console.
- Remove left side underdash panel.





- Pull off plugs (1 and 2).





- Remove screws.





- Remove temperature switch, pulling temperature sensor out of the housing at the same time.

Note: Don't bend temperature sensor.
