Version 1.0 E36 Diagnostic Software for the BST (01 51 9 784 797) does not contain diagnostic programs for M42 equipped E36 models.

Solution:
Version 10.0 diagnostic software (to be released shortly) must be used for this purpose.

If DME diagnostics are selected, the above message will be displayed. To access the diagnosis program for the DME M1.7 M42, the question "Is an E32/E34 connected?" must be answered with "Yes", i.e. the specified arrow key must be pressed.
